She hires  Miss  Yang (A hn So-young), Miss H ong (Lee Hye-young), and Se-young ( Jeon Se-young) thr ough the emp loyment agency. Miss Yang  and Miss Ho ng, wh o are w ell  experienced in  this t ype of b usiness,  are use d to accepting  propositi ons from customers. But Se-young, who is dating a college student named  Min-su , rejects all r equests for  sex ual fav ors. When Min-su  professes to having problems with h is tu ition and  finances, Se-young reassures  him that s he will  procure the necessary funds for him. When t he bar's cl ientele be gins to dwindle because of Se-young, Ji-suk reprimands h er severely . Se-young d evelops a  close r elationship with a Captain Pak  and even allows him to s leep wit h her.  She  asks Captain Pak to find Min- su employment  on a boa t, b ut when Min-su comes  to Sokcho for his new job, he sees ho w Se-young ha s been maki ng her livin  g. Shocked, he  turns his bac  k on the job and  leaves. When he eventuall y returns to Sokch  o, h e scath ingly denounces  Se-young's  moral ity and severs their relationship. Decades ago, Ji-su k had s tumbl   ed into the bar  business in a desperate effort to support her husband, who was serv ing time in  prison;  she later l eft him voluntarily out of sham e and  moral deg rada  tion.  Concerned that Se-young will end up with the  same f ate, Ji-s uk asks Min-su to meet with he r. She begs  him no t to abandon Se-young, but he flatly  refuses. Ji-suk rea cts by pushing Min -su into the  sea, and suffers a mental break down that lands her in a psych  iatric insti  tutio　　“我又给您装了两枚 美人果，您不 管是自己用，还是卖，都是可以的。   ”说到这里，她顿了顿，笑 着道：“老祖，那个虎坤龟的大龟壳实在太大了，我们没人能弄开， 所以……这活就交给您了，回头您弄好了，  赏我一个趁手的龟盾就行！  ”
