The son of Narapa Red dy, Veera Raghava Red dy, returns from London aft er completin g his educa  tion. Basi Redd y attacks a nd kill  s Narapa Reddy on their way home. Raghava instinct  ively takes a sword and kills his oppo  nents. Aft er talking  to his gr andm other a bout the feud, he realizes   that violence became a way  of life  for the peopl e in these  villages and he le aves for Hyd  eraba  d se eking a soluti on to the fe  ud. Rag  hava meets Aravindha i  n Hyderabad and f  alls in love with  her. She strongly b elieve s in sol ving problems wit hout bloodshed an d sets him  on a path of self-discovery.
